DreamKids in Action - Crafting a Birthday Wish

This is a great story of kids helping kids...

Several months ago, thousand of children across Canada began rallying to create and send cards to 7-year-old Shane Bernier of Lancaster, Ont.

Shane has been in the hospital since last year undergoing chemotherapy and commented to his family how much he loved receiving cards. With his 8th birthday at the end of May, fellow kids responded in an incredible way.

Kids began rallying their family, friends, classmates and schools to craft special cards for Shane's birthday. Before long, Shane had received more than 2 million cards from around the world! Talk about kindness in action!
