Passion in Action: A Banana Bunch Benefit

Our newest DreamKids in Action story is now posted! Monisha (15), Brittney (14) and Rajesh (10) Bhayana of Buffalo, N.Y. have raised thousands of dollars for their local Ronald McDonald House simply by putting their passion into action...

Since 2003, the "Banana Bunch" have been writing, producing and performing their very own puppet show for friends and family. From their family's basement to a backyard tent and this year to a professional theatre, the Bhayana kids' production has become become one of the most profitable fundraisers held in the area for Ronald McDonald House.

Of their fundraising efforts, 10-year-old Rajesh says, "At the end of the show, I feel really proud because I know that I helped someone and all of the practices and hard work paid off."
